Content selection
I choose tools to review based on:
- Direct reader requests and questions seen in AI communities.
- New tools that are attracting significant attention and warrant an independent voice.
- Lesser-known tools discovered through my own testing that offer exceptional value.
Review integrity
- I do not accept monetary compensation in exchange for reviews.
- If a developer provides a free evaluation licence or temporary access, this is clearly disclosed in the review and does not guarantee favourable treatment.
- Sponsored content will never be presented as an independent review; it will be clearly labelled as “Sponsored” or “Partner Content”.
Authorship
All articles are written by me, Jonny Hastings. While AI tools are occasionally used during the testing process (given the site’s subject matter), the final written content, critical opinions, and editorial decisions are entirely my own. I stand behind every word published.
Keeping content current
I review and, where necessary, update articles when:
- A tool receives a significant feature or pricing update.
- A major new competitor alters the market landscape.
- Readers notify me of outdated information.
All significant updates are noted at the top of the article.
Corrections
If a factual error is discovered, I correct it promptly and append a brief note explaining the change. Transparency with readers is non-negotiable.
